Linda is the latest Industry Connect intern to land a job, this time as a software developer.

There is no easy path to a career in software development; you have to work hard to get the results. The drive to work hard differs from person to person.

Linda had a good reason to work hard and get a job.

What helped you become who you are today?

The most important thing that has inspired me is the pressure to get a job because I’ve got a daughter in China and I need to bring her here. This is the most important factor for me to get this job.

I got a lot of help from people at MVP and Aimy Plus. A lot of people gave me advice to help improve my technical skills.

The most important thing I think is to not give up. After one or two months I almost gave up, but then I thought of my daughter, and yeah, I just needed to stick to it and find a job.

Would you recommend Industry Connect?

Yeah of course! Actually, I already did it before to my classmate. I feel I’m lucky, because I joined MVP Studio before I went to University, so I’ve got a longer internship than my other classmates.
