After dominating Auckland, conquering Christchurch and Wellington, and invading Sydney and Melbourne, Industry Connect are now stopping off in Hamilton on the way home!
We are holding an information night in The Tron, and you and everyone you know are invited!
Come along to meet Ray Lu and Andrew McPherson, the two founders of Industry Connect, and hear how we can help you launch your career in the world of software development.
If you’re a recent graduate or new local job seeker, finding it hard to enter the IT Market or wanting a change in career, then this information night is not to be missed.
The evening will be held on:
Wednesday 2nd May, 4.00pm to 6.00pm, at the Bill Gallagher Centre.
Andrew and Ray will explain how Industry Connect help people to get “Job Ready” and why we are looked upon as being “the bridge” from graduation into the IT Market.
We also assist people already in an IT position that want to move up into an intermediate / senior IT position and help them do this.
During the course of the evening you will:
- Find out who Industry Connect are and a brief background of the founders
- Understand what the programmes are and how the internship works.
- Receive free advice about how you can prepare yourself for the industry.

How Industry Connect works
Through our six-week training program we help you with the small things that you may not realise employers are looking for. It’s not just another generic training program either – we have a specialised our training for your particular job market.
With our partners we then support you through a three-month, mentored internship to gain commercial, industry experience, giving you the vital experience, and the connections, you will need.
Together we can make you “job ready”, so that when a job opportunity presents itself, you can take full advantage of it. And we don’t leave you at the doorstep either. We support you all the way through until you get a job placement.
Our success speaks for itself, so if you would like to know more about us, our programmes, or how you can join, come along to our information night in Hamilton to learn more!
