The 'Job-Ready' Test Analyst Programme is a practical bootcamp specifically designed for people wanting to get their first job in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. It is created and presented by experienced Test Analysts, QA leads and software engineers, who share the workflows, tools and tradecraft they use in real commercial projects every day. You'll cover SDLC and STLC, structured test case design, bug and defect management, and how testing fits into Waterfall, Agile and DevOps teams. The combined effect of gaining 'in-demand' testing skills, improved communication skills and relevant project experience will ensure you stand out when meeting employers.

You'll get hands-on with the tools real testing teams use: Selenium WebDriver for UI automation (waits, synchronisation, basic design patterns), Postman for API testing and API automation, and Git, Jira, Azure DevOps and Reqroll (BDD) for collaborative QA work. Participants are guided by experienced testers and developers the entire way, with hands-on coaching, one-on-one mentoring and practical advice throughout a real-world commercial project. This provides a unique opportunity to gain first-hand project experience throughout the STLC — from requirements analysis, test planning and case design, through to execution, defect tracking, regression and sign-off.

The Test Analyst job-ready programme provides real-world insights into working in the IT industry. You will experience what it's really like to work as a tester inside a delivery team — collaborating with developers, reading user stories, raising and verifying defects, and improving product quality release after release. You will learn key industry terms and communication techniques while building valuable personal industry connections.
